Job description

Join to apply for the Registered Vascular Sonographer role at USA CLINIC SL.

As a Registered Vascular Technologist, you will perform vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities (and other studies as needed), balancing patient needs while maintaining efficient workflow. You will also ensure that patients receive excellent service experience.

This full-time position is Monday - Friday and offers flexibility to work at our Archer, Belmont Ave., and Orland Park clinics.

Responsibilities

1. Perform ultrasound examinations to create a Venous Flow Map for treatment planning.
2. Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients, addressing their specific needs.
3. Set up and clean procedure, exam, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
4. Perform additional ultrasound exams as required by the physician's treatment plan, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
5. Adhere to standard time allotments for each ultrasound exam to maintain patient flow.
6. Collaborate with office staff and physicians to review ultrasound schedules, ensuring availability and safety, and maintaining an efficient patient load.
7. Develop and maintain skills through continued education and interaction with other technologists.
8. Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory for smooth operations.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
• Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS).
• Cultural sensitivity and excellent patient care skills.
• Ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work as part of a team.
