Job description

Job Title: Registered Vascular Technologist

As a Registered Vascular Technologist, you will perform vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities and other studies as needed. You will balance patient needs with efficient workflow and ensure an excellent service experience for every patient.

This full-time position offers flexible hours from Monday to Friday, with locations at Archer, Belmont Ave., and Orland Park clinics.

Responsibilities

1. Perform ultrasound examinations to create Venous Flow Maps, aiding in treatment planning.
2. Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
3. Set up and clean examination rooms and ultrasound equipment before and after procedures.
4. Conduct additional ultrasound exams as required by the treatment plan to ensure safety and effectiveness.
5. Adhere to time standards for each ultrasound exam to maintain workflow efficiency.
6. Collaborate with staff and physicians to review schedules, ensuring adequate ultrasound technician coverage and optimal patient care.
7. Maintain and develop professional skills through ongoing education and peer interaction.
8. Manage equipment maintenance and supply inventory to support continuous operations.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program.
• Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS).
• Strong cultural sensitivity and patient care skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Effective multitasking, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
