MedQuest Imaging is seeking a Registered Technical Assistant for weekend shifts at the Fayetteville imaging center. You will support Technologists by preparing patients, assisting with IVs, and coordinating between radiologists and technologists to ensure smooth exams.

This position requires CPR, high school diploma, and appropriate medical certifications. No overnight or on-call shifts and a focus on patient-centered care within a collaborative team.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• Phlebotomy certification, CMA, RMA or ARRT certification is required or ARRT registered.

Mansioni

• Screen patients prior to exam.
• Assist patient with electronic paperwork and medical history.
• Escort patients to changing rooms and exam areas; prepare for MRI.
• Start and remove IVs; assist Technologist with MRI table setup.
• Maintain linen inventory and assist with reports/images for Radiologist.
• Act as liaison between Technologist and Radiologist and perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

The Registered Technical Assistant is responsible for providing a variety of technical and non-technical duties related to the efficiency of the workflow at the imaging center. Serves as an assistant to the Technologist for the purpose of ensuring patients are prepared for their exam, complete the exam in an effective manner and start/remove IVs. Duties include the following:

• Screen patients prior to exam
• Assist the patient in completing electronic paperwork
• Obtain medical history from the patient
• Escort the patient to the changing room and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the exam
• Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam room
• Assist the Technologist in preparing the MRI table (coil selection, changing linen, etc.)
• Start and remove IVs
• Research availability and obtain reports and images requested by Radiologist
• Serve as liaison between the Technologist and Radiologist
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Phlebotomy certification, Certified Medical Assistant certification through AAMA or NHA, Registered Medical Assistant certification through AMT or ARMA, or ARRT registered in (R), (MR), (CT), or (M) required
• CPR certification required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 0 – 2 years of experience
