MedQuest Imaging is seeking a Registered Technical Assistant PRN to support outpatient imaging centers in the Winston-Salem area. The role involves assisting Technologists, prepping patients for exams, starting and removing IVs, and helping with electronic paperwork to ensure smooth workflow.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or CMA/RMA/ARRT credentials required.

Mansioni

• Screen patients prior to exam.
• Assist patient with electronic paperwork.
• Obtain medical history from patient.
• Escort patient to changing room and ensure proper attire.
• Escort patients to and from mobile MRI or exam room.
• Assist technologist in preparing MRI table (coil selection, linen).
• Start and remove IVs.
• Coordinate reports/images with Radiologist; liaise between Technologist and Radiologist.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

The Registered Technical Assistant is responsible for providing a variety of technical and non-technical duties related to the efficiency of the workflow at the imaging center. Serves as an assistant to the Technologist for the purpose of ensuring patients are prepared for their exam, complete the exam in an effective manner and start/remove IVs. Duties include the following:

• Screen patients prior to exam
• Assist the patient in completing electronic paperwork
• Obtain medical history from the patient
• Escort the patient to the changing room and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the exam
• Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam room
• Assist the Technologist in preparing the MRI table (coil selection, changing linen, etc.)
• Start and remove IVs
• Research availability and obtain reports and images requested by RadiologistServe as liaison between the Technologist and Radiologist
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Phlebotomy certification, Certified Medical Assistant certification through AAMA or NHA, Registered Medical Assistant certification through AMT or ARMA, or ARRT registered in (R), (MR), (CT), or (M) required
