Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a Registered Technical Assistant for our Mobile MRI Team. The role combines patient care, teamwork, and travel across the region, supporting MRI operations at multiple facilities.

Ideal candidates have venipuncture and IV start experience and can handle electronic paperwork and patient histories. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR, and phlebotomy/CMA/RMA/ARRT certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomy, CMA, RMA, or ARRT certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients prior to exam.
• Assist the patient in completing electronic paperwork.
• Obtain medical history from the patient.
• Escort the patient to the changing room and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the exam.
• Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam room.
• Assist the technologist in preparing the MRI table and supplies.
• Start and remove IVs.
• Maintain linen inventory.
• Research availability and obtain reports and images requested by Radiologist.
• Serve as liaison between the technologist and Radiologist.
• Other duties as assigned.

Are you a Registered Technical Assistant looking for a hands-on role that combines patient care, teamwork, and travel? MedQuest Imaging, a trusted partner of Novant Health, is seeking a Registered Technical Assistant to join our growing Mobile MRI Team.

As a member of our mobile team, you'll help bring high-quality diagnostic imaging services directly to communities across the region while supporting MRI operations at multiple healthcare facilities. This role is ideal for candidates with patient care experience, including performing venipuncture and starting IVs.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Phlebotomy certification, Certified Medical Assistant certification through AAMA or NHA, Registered Medical Assistant certification through AMT or ARMA, or ARRT registered in (R), (MR), (CT), or (M) required
• CPR certification required

Prior Experience:

• Minimum of 0 – 2 years of experience
