Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care across respiratory therapies per physician orders. You will consult on therapy effectiveness and serve as a resource for physicians and nursing staff.

This role offers a sign-on bonus and a weekend/shift schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance. Qualifications include graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program, an active RCP license, and the NBRC-registered RRT credential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care as ordered by physicians.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy; acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing.
• Operates and maintains respiratory care equipment in accordance with standards.
