Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy under physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and support nursing staff as an advanced resource in respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC RRT credential held.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• PALS required for ER staff.

Responsibilities

• Consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
• Serve as a resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
