Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as a key resource for nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license per state requirements.
• NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy as ordered.
• Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.
• Perform duties as assigned.
