University Hospitals in Concord, Ohio, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to support newborns, OB patients, and NICU care in our acute care hospital. This full-time night position offers a collaborative interdisciplinary team and opportunities to deliver advanced respiratory care.

You will perform mechanical ventilation, medicated aerosol delivery, airway clearance, patient monitoring, oxygen therapy and select procedures; adherence to PHI and UH policies is required.

A Brief Overview

The therapist is learning and incorporating the mission statement and standards of behavior of his/her hospital or care facility. This therapist performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimum supervision.

Complies with all policies and standards.

Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Position Details/Preferred Qualifications

This role is for our special care nursery, women laboring, and infant resuscitation during deliveries. At least 2 years of experience in the NICU and attending deliveries is strongly preferred. The schedule is (3) 12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, every other weekend, and rotating holidays.
