University Hospitals in Concord, Ohio is seeking a Part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist to join UH TriPoint Medical Center during evening shifts. The role supports patients in an acute care setting and contributes to care plans within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include mechanical ventilation, aerosol delivery, airway clearance, patient monitoring, and oxygen therapy, as well as handling special procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory (Required)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (Preferred)
• Current Ohio RCP license granted by the Ohio Medical Board (Required)
• AARC membership within 6 months of hire date (Required)
• NRP Certified (Neonatal facilities) (Required within 6 Months)

A Brief Overview

The therapist is learning and incorporating the mission statement and standards of behavior of his/her hospital or care facility. This therapist performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimum supervision.

Additional Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
