Mercy in Rogers, Arkansas is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver advanced neonatal and pediatric respiratory care under physician orders and collaborate with the care team. You will assess needs, develop care plans, supervise and mentor staff, participate in rounds, and support quality and safety initiatives while providing education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• PALS for ER teammates where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Serve as a clinical resource for physicians, nurses, patients, and families.
• Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy treatments and interventions.
• Assess respiratory needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory conditions and treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in rounds.
• Mentor and precept team members.
