Mercy seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide expert respiratory care across neonatal, pediatric, and critical care settings. You will deliver care per physician orders, educate families, and contribute to patient-centered outcomes.

The role emphasizes ventilator management, collaboration with physicians, and ongoing professional growth within a compassionate healing ministry.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the State of Practice.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with NBRC.
• BLS Certification required; NRP/PALS may be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care according to physician orders and protocols.
• Assess patient conditions and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Provide ventilator management and life-support in critical care settings.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and respiratory care needs.
• Develop and update patient care plans based on clinical changes.
• Communicate goals, progress, and changes across the care team.
