Singing River Health System is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to perform respiratory care on general nursing units and critical care areas at Singing River Ocean Springs Hospital.

The role requires licensure by the Mississippi Department of Health, NBRC credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (or eligibility), and current BCLS; ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications are required within 12 months of start. One year of experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Currently licensed by the Mississippi Department of Health.
• Must hold or be eligible for BCLS, ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform respiratory care duties on general nursing units and in critical care areas (MICU, NICU, SICU, CSCU, PACU, Nursery, ED).
• Evaluate therapeutic benefits of respiratory care and discuss therapy with physicians; make recommendations.
• Participate in orientation of respiratory care staff and teach/counsel on equipment use.
