Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support pediatric respiratory care. You will diagnose, treat, and manage pulmonary disorders while collecting samples to assess gas exchange and lung function.

The role requires an AAS in Respiratory Care, NBRC RRT, SC licensure, and current BLS, with a minimum of two years' experience. 40-hour weeks and hourly wages apply, with supervision of technicians as needed.

Qualifications

  • AAS in Respiratory Care from an AMA approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC and SC licensure.
  • Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Additional Job Description
  • Education: AAS in Respiratory Care from an AMA approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Licensure/Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Licensed by the Board of Medical Examiners of S.C.
  • Work Experience: > or =2 years
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
