Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Active state licensure as a respiratory therapist.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• BLS certification compliant for Respiratory Care.
• For interns/graduates: must be enrolled or graduated from AMA program and pursue NBRC credentialing within year.

Responsibilities

• Performs therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
• Evaluates patient responses to respiratory therapy and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Educates patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment operation and safety.
• Performs routine maintenance and service checks on equipment.
• Maintains records, reports, and related documentation.

Enrollment/graduate in AMA accredited program awaiting NBRC exams
