Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT) in good standing
• BLS certification required; ACLS/NRP/PALS as specified by MI policy
• NBRC certification required; ACLS/NRP mandatory within stated timelines
• Two years clinical experience preferred; hospital-based setting ideal

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory care and evaluations per protocol.
• Delivers medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers.
• Responds to rapid responses and emergencies with life-support measures.
• Sets up and maintains oxygen and ventilation equipment according to protocol.
