Ochsner Health System in Gretna, LA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Westbank campus. This full-time role provides adult, pediatric, and neonatal respiratory care, oxygen therapy, and ventilation support in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The position requires a Louisiana license, NBRC credential, BLS, and strong data-entry skills. You will perform diagnostic tests, document findings, educate patients, and participate in 24/7 coverage as needed.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to perform data entry and retrieve patient information.
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency.

Mansioni

• Performs routine and advanced respiratory therapies per policy and procedure.
• Reviews and documents clinical information for each patient.
• Educates patients and co-workers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Provides diagnostic procedures and ventilation support as ordered.
