Job summary

Hudson Regional Hospital in Hoboken, NJ, is seeking a registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time day shift. You will assess, treat, and monitor patients of all ages with cardiopulmonary disorders, working closely with physicians and nurses to develop individualized care plans.

Requires an accredited degree in respiratory therapy, NJ license, NBRC RRT, BLS and ACLS. Prior hospital experience and familiarity with EMR systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Respiratory Therapist license in New Jersey.
• Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.

Responsibilities

• Assess, administer, and evaluate respiratory care modalities as ordered by physicians or protocols.
• Provide respiratory care to in-patient and ED populations.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop treatment plans.
• Operate ventilators and other respiratory equipment; manage airway and oxygen therapy.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and home equipment.
