RWJBarnabas Health's Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ seeks a Respiratory Therapist for pediatrics on the Day Shift. The role evaluates, treats, and cares for pediatric patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, collaborating with the care team to implement plans of care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program, NBRC-registered RRT, NJ license, and AHA BLS certification. A BS degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an JRC-approved program of Respiratory Care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC.
• NJ State Respiratory License.
• AHA BLS Provider Certification.

Responsibilities

• Work with pediatric patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families within policy timeframes.
• Collaborate in a team-based rehab process.
• Maintain respiratory care continuity and interdisciplinary interventions.
• Demonstrate ISTAT blood analysis and follow related policies.
