Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Certification as an NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and care for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Deliver respiratory care services in inpatient and ER settings as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop treatment plans.
• Operate ventilators and respiratory care equipment.
• Educate patients and families on therapies and home equipment.
• Document responses and adjust care plans as needed.
