Job summary

Hoboken University Hospital in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Registered for the full-time night shift. You will assess, treat, and care for patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary disorders, collaborating with physicians and nurses to implement individualized plans.

Responsibilities include administering therapies, operating ventilators, performing diagnostics, documenting responses, and educating patients and families on home respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current NJ Respiratory Therapist license and NBRC RRT credential.
• BLS and ACLS certifications with hospital/acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, administer, and evaluate respiratory care modalities as ordered by physicians.
• Deliver respiratory care services to in-patient and ER populations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in rounds.
• Operate ventilators and other respiratory care equipment.
• Educate patients and families on therapies and home care.
