UofL Health, Inc. is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide respiratory care across age groups in the Mary and Elizabeth - UMC facility in Louisville, KY. The role requires an RRT, active KBRC license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

New graduates are welcome. The RRT will plan and administer therapies, manage ventilator settings, and educate patients and staff while contributing to departmental productivity and patient outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Cardiopulmonary Services or Respiratory Care is required.
• 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy critical care is preferred; new graduates accepted.
• Active license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care (KBRC) is required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) and current ACLS/BLS certifications are required.

Aufgaben

• Plans and administers non-medicated aerosol and humidity therapy.
• Plans and administers oxygen therapy per protocol.
• Plans and administers aerosolized medication and specialty gas therapy.
• Performs airway management and ventilation support.
• Cleans and reprocesses respiratory therapy equipment.
• Provides education to patient, family, and staff.
