Sweetwater Care in Fowler, CA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to independently perform respiratory care procedures, interpret physician orders, assess resident needs, deliver prescribed therapy, and evaluate responses. The role serves as a consultant, educator, and clinician within the nursing and interdisciplinary staff.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with 12-hour shifts that meet facility needs and ensure continuous respiratory services and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensed in the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff, and physicians.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines for respiratory care.

Responsabilités

• Promotes healing and recovery by providing respiratory care, education, and psychosocial support.
• Administers respiratory therapies, including ventilatory support, oxygen, and monitoring.
• Manages medical gas delivery, humidification, aerosols, and chest physiotherapy.
• Collaborates with nursing leadership and staff to integrate respiratory care into daily practice.
• Maintains accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates equipment needs and maintenance for respiratory services.
