How you’ll make an impact in this role
Perform evaluations and provide high-level care for patients with complex respiratory insufficiencies.
Analyze patient needs to determine treatment types and frequencies.
Implement and monitor respiratory equipment and advanced care modalities.
Educate patients and families on conditions, community resources, and long-term support programs.
Provide intervention during code situations and life-critical events.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred
Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.
Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
