Job summary

Pinecrest Supports & Services Center seeks a compassionate Respiratory Care Therapist I‑2 Registered to join our healthcare team. You will administer respiratory therapy, care for devices, document progress, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote wellness for individuals we serve.

The role requires a Louisiana license as a Respiratory Therapist and NBRC Registered accreditation, with shift from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM and opportunities for career progression within LDH Health

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Louisiana Respiratory Therapist license and NBRC Registered accreditation.
• Experience with respiratory therapy modalities and equipment.
• Ability to document in progress notes and MAR.
• Knowledge of quality control and assurance records.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy modalities.
• Perform tracheotomy care and suctioning; monitor patient status.
• Make rounds to complete treatments and document procedures.
• Maintain and clean all respiratory equipment; manage oxygen and medications.
• Maintain quality control records and reports.
• Conduct tracheotomy care evaluations with staff and IR team.
