Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with a focus on quality and patient care. You will work with radiologists to ensure accurate results, prepare patients, verify orders, and maintain safety protocols.

The role involves a 36-hour weekly schedule at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Colorado, with opportunities to advance within Imaging and a comprehensive benefits package. Prior radiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification and state license as applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• May be required to complete MA competency checklist in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Prepares patient, verifies orders, and reviews image quality.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and safety culture.
• Completes studies within acceptable timeframes while maintaining care quality.
• Instructs students and other radiology staff on protocols and positioning.
• Documents patient information, procedures, and adverse reactions.
• Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, and QC.
