Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT competency in clinical/technical functions.
• Verifies patient identity and prepares patient for the exam.
• Performs exams per protocol; reviews images for quality and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time without compromising care or quality.
• Assists and trains students and other radiology staff in protocols and positioning.
• Provides patient education and comfort; addresses concerns.
• Follows infection control and sterile techniques; maintains records.
