Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for healthcare providers.
• May require Medical Assistant (MA) competency checklist in clinic or InstaCare setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical/technical functions.
• Prepares patient, verifies identity and orders, ensures proper exam protocol.
• Reviews images for quality, accuracy and safety; adheres to radiation safety guidelines.
• Assists students and other radiology staff, educates patients, and documents procedures.
