Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO to perform diagnostic imaging exams and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality images. You will maintain ARRT competency, verify patient identity, and ensure safety and exam accuracy.

The role emphasizes efficient study completion, infection control, patient education, and support for students and colleagues within a fast-paced imaging team.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and state radiologic technologist license are required.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers is required.
• May be required to complete MA Competency Checklist for clinic/ InstaCare.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical/technical functions.
• Prepares patient, verifies identity, and ensures exam quality and safety.
• Operates equipment, reviews images for quality and accuracy.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and infection control practices.
• Completes studies within time limits without compromising care.
• Assists students and other staff in procedures and protocols.
