Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS)

Professional Land Surveyor

Job Responsibilities:

1. Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and drafting
2. Project Management to include schedule, budget, personnel, and resources
3. Business development and relationship management for public and private clients
4. Coordination and supervision of multiple crews and survey CAD technicians on day-to-day operations
5. Perform other work as directed including assisting survey manager with estimates and proposals, preparing field packets, and compiling deliverables in CAD
6. Creation of boundary, topographic, and easement maps
7. Assist engineering & surveying management with requested assignments

Job Qualifications:

1. Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) required. Texas PLS license preferred
2. Must have experience building business relationships with current and potential clients
3. Must have experience with Easement/ Right-of-Way Surveys, Plats, ALTAs, boundaries, property descriptions, and topographic surveys
4. Experience with CAD and survey computation software including Civil3D, Carlson Survey, and Trimble Business Center
5. Field experience operating survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Scan Station, sUAS)
6. Effective communication skills with all levels of employees within an organization
7. Attention to detail & ability to efficiently resolve problems
8. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required
9. Leadership abilities, eager to learn, and a positive "do whatever it takes" attitude
10. Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs
11. Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
12. Maintain respectable work attire
13. Survey experience is preferred
