Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) – $65,000–$75,000

An established civil engineering and land surveying firm based in Austin, TX is seeking to hire an experienced Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to join its team at the South Austin office. This full-time, in-person role offers a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Overview :

We are looking to expand our survey department with a qualified RPLS who has a minimum of 3 years of professional experience . In this role, you will report directly to the Survey Department Manager and collaborate closely with other survey and engineering professionals.

Responsibilities :

• Perform various types of surveys : ALTA / NSPS, topographic, design, tree location, subdivision plats
• Conduct boundary analysis
• Perform QA / QC checks on finished projects
• Participate in occasional field work
• Prepare metes and bounds
• Support home production and development services teams
• Supervise survey technicians and SIT employees
• Collaborate on proposals and project timelines with engineering and administrative staff

Qualifications :

• Licensed RPLS in the State of Texas (required)
• 3+ years of professional land surveying experience
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, Trimble equipment, and TBC
• Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills
• Project management and supervisory experience a plus
• Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation & Benefits :

• Salary : $65,000 – $75,000
