Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, and support the pharmacy team while promoting wellness in the community.

Qualifications

• College degree and licensure in pharmacy required; must maintain continuing education to keep license active
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience required
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred
• Ability to administer immunizations required

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and making interactions positive
• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with OBRA '90 and state/federal regulations
• Assist with inventory management and annual controlled substance inventory
• Assist with ordering, stocking, invoices, and inventory data entry
• Support the pharmacy team and participate in education and training of staff
• Collaborate with schools, doctors' offices, and senior centers to market pharmacy services
• Contribute to growth and sales through wellness programs and patient counseling
• Adhere to HIPAA and protect confidential patient information
