Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Registered Pharmacist for our in-store pharmacy. The role focuses on filling and verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, and supporting the pharmacy team.

You will participate in wellness programs, immunizations as certified, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations. Strong customer service and integrity are essential; experience in a fast-paced retail setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a pharmacy license and maintain continuing education to keep license active.
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience required.
• Immunizations administration required and pharmacovigilance adherence.

Responsibilities

• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with OBRA '90 and state/federal laws.
• Assist with controlled substance inventory and regular inventory reconciliation.
• Support pharmacy team, training, and education activities.
• Market pharmacy services by visiting schools, doctors' offices, and community centers.
• Administer immunizations as certified and ensure HIPAA privacy compliance.
