Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a licensed Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will fill prescriptions, counsel patients, and support wellness programs while upholding HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• College degree and licensure in pharmacy required; must maintain continuing education to keep license active
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related work experience required
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred
• Ability to administer immunizations required

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names
• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with regulations
• Assist with inventory and compliance including immunizations and MTM programs
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in line with HIPAA and store policies
• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager and other departments to promote wellness services
