Job summary

Care Village at Mattapan is seeking an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) to join our in‑house rehab team in Boston, MA. The OT will assess residents, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maximize functional independence and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds an active OT license (or licensure eligible), and has experience delivering therapy in long‑term and skilled nursing settings, with strong documentation and communication

Qualifications

• Active state licensure or licensure eligibility as an OT.
• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct Occupational Therapy Services within the facility.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for the department.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and the care team.
• Initiate referrals in line with OT Department procedures.
• Conduct screenings to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to residents and team members.
