Bear Mountain Healthcare seeks an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) for the West Roxbury Health and Rehabilitation Center. The OTR will join an in-house rehab team to evaluate residents, devise customized treatment plans, and strive for maximum independence and quality of life in a skilled nursing setting.
Responsibilities include plan/implement OT programs, document thoroughly, communicate results to the care team, and initiate appropriate referrals.

Occupational Therapists are primarily responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing Occupational Therapy services in accordance with current applicable federal and state standards, guidelines and regulations. To ensure the highest quality of resident care can be maintained, Occupational Therapists must be able to evaluate a patient's condition and devise a customized rehabilitation and treatment plan. The Occupational Therapist's goal is to develop, maintain and restore maximum functional ability and independence in order to maximize quality of life.

Must have an active state license or license eligible and meet the educational requirements as defined in the job description for that license type. Bachelor of Science, Master of Science or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
