Job summary
Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy for patients referred by physicians in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment. The role offers PRN/FT options, with a $15k sign-on bonus for FT and opportunities for new grads.
Responsibilities include delivering therapy, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and maintaining licensure and CPR certification.
Qualifications
- NBCOT certified upon hire, renewal optional
- Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; active license required
- One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current
Responsibilities
- Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and email
- Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc., to plan for patient needs
- Must demonstrate good body mechanics at all times
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Knowledgeable of practices and procedures and relevant laws and guidelines
