Job summary

Carroll Park Healthcare is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse to join our skilled nursing facility team and lead in patient care. You will observe residents, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and ensure accurate medical records while mentoring GNAs and LPNs.

Qualifications

• Current state nursing licensure.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience supervising GNAs and LPNs in a nursing home setting.
• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor residents’ health and assess their needs to provide quality care.
• Work with physicians to create individual care plans and assist them during required operations or procedures.
• Maintain complete healthcare records and reports.
• Supervise, manage, and train GNAs and LPNs on staff.
• Perform routine procedures as needed, including administering medication and injections, and provide emergency medical care when necessary.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the facility.
