Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking an experienced registered nurse to plan, deliver and document comprehensive patient care in assigned units, in accordance with orders and nursing standards.

You will supervise clinical staff as needed, observe and report changes in patient condition, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold MetroHealth's mission and patient-centered values; shift varies with PRN/float expectations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in Ohio.
• AHA BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Strong knowledge of nursing theory, practice and medical sciences.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and maintain accuracy under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, document and evaluate nursing care for patients according to orders and standards.
• Direct activities of assigned nursing personnel and ensure policy compliance.
• Observe, assess and report on patient condition and treatment response.
• Uphold MetroHealth System mission, values and customer service standards.
