Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a registered nurse to plan, deliver, document and evaluate patient care in an assigned unit. You will direct nursing staff, observe patient condition, and report findings while maintaining accurate documentation in alignment with approved standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Ohio RN licensure.
• BSN preferred with relevant certifications.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP required or within specified timeframe.
• RN with ambulatory/acute care experience preferred.
• AHA BLS for healthcare provider required or obtainable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Plans, delivers, documents and evaluates nursing care in assigned area.
• Directs activities of assigned nursing personnel.
• Observes, assesses and reports patient condition.
• Maintains accurate, timely documentation of care and patient response.
