Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a professional nurse to plan, deliver, document and evaluate nursing care in an assigned area, following provider orders and established standards. You will supervise nursing staff, observe patient conditions, and maintain accurate documentation reflecting care and patient response.

The role supports MetroHealth's mission to improve community health. Requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS/PALS; NRP and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• PRN/float nursing staff must have 1 year of clinical experience.
• Must hold Ohio RN license and BLS; ACLS, PALS preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; good organization.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and document nursing care for assigned patients.
• Direct activities of nursing personnel; monitor patient condition.
• Maintain accurate care documentation reflecting patient status and response.
