MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a registered nurse to plan, deliver, document and evaluate patient care in an assigned area, following provider orders and established nursing standards.

The role includes directing nursing staff, observing and reporting patient conditions, and maintaining accurate documentation of care, treatment and response. You will uphold the system's mission, values, and customer service standards while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a program seeking accreditation.
• Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice; basic medical sciences and their applications.
• Ability to maintain positive working relations with colleagues and medical staff.
• Physical coordination and dexterity; ability to lift and move patients with assistance.
