Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking registered nurses to plan, deliver, and document comprehensive nursing care in a dynamic hospital setting. You will assess patient needs, follow orders and standards, and contribute to a collaborative care team at METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RN license with BLS certification and relevant certifications (ACLS, PALS, PEARS); BSN preferred. PRN/float experience is valued; shift patterns are variable and may include extended hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and current RN licensure in Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare providers or within 90 days of hire.
• Additional clinical certifications: ACLS, PALS, PEARS; NRP and CNOR as applicable per unit.

Responsibilities

• Plans, delivers, documents and evaluates nursing care for assigned patients per orders and standards.
• Directs activities of assigned nursing personnel; maintains accurate documentation of patient condition, treatment and response.
• Upholds MetroHealth System mission, values and customer service standards.
