Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources, has a potential opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse – Urology at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK. This full-time position supports a military healthcare environment with direct nursing care in the Urology Clinic and procedural assistance.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN from ACEN/CCNE programs, an unrestricted RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS or ability to obtain within 2 months is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. jurisdiction
• 1 year of RN experience within the last 2 years
• Specialty Clinic or Urology experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS and PALS certification, or ability to obtain within the first 2 months of employment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Urology Clinic
• Assist with cystoscopies, catheter placement, and urologic procedures
• Monitor patients and administer prescribed treatments
• Educate patients on urologic conditions and post-procedure care
• Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments

Position Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program
