Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – General Surgery to support surgical services at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. This full-time role offers a Monday-Friday schedule (40 hours/week) with comprehensive benefits, PTO, sick leave, and a stable clinical team environment.

Qualifications include BSN from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program, active RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS or ability to obtain within two months, and relevant surgical area experience.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• BSN from ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. jurisdiction.
• 1 year RN experience within the last 2 years.
• 1 year of experience in surgery clinic, step-down unit, ICU, or PACU within last 5 years.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certification, or ability to obtain within first 2 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative patient education.
• Coordinate surgical scheduling and patient care.
• Support postoperative recovery and PACU services as assigned.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
• Assist with clinical procedures and surgical care coordination.

Position Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
