Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA is hiring an experienced RN for the Intermediate Care/Stepdown Unit. You will lead safety and quality initiatives, mentor staff, and deliver high‑level nursing care on a fast-paced stroke/IMC unit.

Requirements include RN licensure in VA, BSN preferred, with ACLS/PALS or ENPC and BLS. Full‑time, 36 hours weekly, with a generous sign-on bonus and relocation support.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Virginia or compact state in good standing.
• ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• 18+ months nursing experience required; BSN required; MSN preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and quality initiatives in Intermediate Care/Stepdown.
• Provide clinical leadership for nursing care delivery.
• Mentor staff and shape unit culture and performance.
• Collaborate with management to support stroke/IMC care.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $47.42 - $68.63 hourly.
