Shifts include day and night; opportunities for full-time, part-time, and per diem roles. Responsibilities include monitoring rhythm, administering care per plan, collaborating with providers, educating patients and families, and documenting in the EMR.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year of cardiac telemetry or related cardiac care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring techniques.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythm and vital signs, interpreting data for distress or abnormal patterns.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per medical plan.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to adjust the care plan for cardiac status.
• Educate patients and families on heart health, treatment plans, and home care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient condition and progress in EMR.
