Responsibilities

1. Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
2. Meet the physical, psychosocial, religious, cultural, and other needs of patients and their families.
3. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient conditions and responses to treatment.
4. Perform patient assessments, reassessments, and manage pain effectively.
5. Administer medications accurately, following the six rights of medication administration.
