Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitation at St. Camillus is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse Supervisor for weekend nights from 11pm to 7am. The role focuses on overseeing the unit's quality of care, enforcing health and infection control policies, and ensuring adherence to nursing standards.

Qualified applicants will hold an active Connecticut RN license with geriatric or SNF experience. CPR/IV certification is required, and prior SNF supervision is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitiation at St. Camillus, Fairfield County's premier 124 bed LTC and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse Supervisor, every weekend, for our 11p-7a shift.

The Registered Nurse Supervisormust:

• Be responsible for the overall operation and quality of care for the residents on the assigned unit.

• Be able to follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and the Nursing Policies and Procedures.

• Have the ability to read, write and comprehend English; the ability to follow oral and written instructions.

• Have an Interest in the nursing needs of aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both.

• Have to ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and facility staff in the performance of duties and work within a team system

• Be available to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment. on call, as necessary.

• Minimum one year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred.

• Have knowledge of nursing theory and practice, including the administration of medications

• CPR/IV certified

Qualified Applicants will possess:

• A Valid State of Connecticut RN License

• At least one year of experience withinSkilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facility setting

• Have previous experience in a Supervisor role within a SNF
