Job summary

Amberwoods of Farmington, a Hartford-area Skilled Nursing Facility, is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor for the Night Shift (11pm-7am, Monday through Friday with on-call rotation). The role oversees administrative, clinical, and professional development for the designated shift and ensures delivery of nursing care.

Candidates must hold a CT RN license, demonstrate strong leadership and communication, and be able to work as part of a team while managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the administrative, clinical, and professional development of facility personnel for the designated shift.
• Coordinates, directs, and oversees all aspects of the delivery of nursing care.
• Demonstrates competence in leadership and relevant clinical experience.
• Collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals; complies with orders in a timely manner.
• Conducts unit rounds, ensuring that clinical practices are delivered within the facility's established standards of care.
• Maintains standards of care in accordance with regulatory agencies.
• Must have strong clinical and supervisory skills, as well as previous long-term care experience.
• The Registered Nurse Supervisor has strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, good follow through skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks are required.
• The Registered Nurse Supervisor works as a team player with Nursing Staff to provide excellent clinical care and the Registered Nurse Supervisor must demonstrate a willingness to assist others.

Job description

Hartford-area successful Skilled Nursing Facility seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor for the Night Shift to join our team.

Position is 11pm to 7am, Monday through Friday, with on call rotation.

Hourly pay: Up to $55 per hour and paid lunch.

Bonus: $6,000 sign-on bonus.
